Accessibility

Use the site the way that works for you.

This page is both our accessibility statement and the control panel for a few site preferences. The settings below stay in your browser; they are not sent to KeyLake.

Built into the site Keyboard, screen-reader, zoom and motion support No certification claim. Real features we can test and keep improving.

Your display preferences

These controls change this website on this browser and remember your choice for later visits. They do not create an account or send the preference to us.

What is built into every page

The first keyboard focus on every page is a skip link, so you can bypass the repeated header and navigation.

Visible keyboard focus

Links, buttons, form fields, menus, and other controls get a strong visible focus ring when you move through the site by keyboard.

Semantic page structure

Pages use a main content landmark, headings, navigation labels, native buttons, links, forms, and disclosure controls so assistive technology has useful structure to work with.

Real form labels

KeyLake’s public forms use labels tied to their fields, required-field behavior, live submission messages, and visible browser validation. Invalid fields are also marked for assistive technology while the error remains.

Meaningful image text

Meaningful images use text alternatives. Decorative imagery stays out of the screen-reader reading order instead of being described just for the sake of it.

Zoom and reflow

The site uses responsive layouts and flexible sizing so pages can reflow across phones, tablets, desktops, browser zoom, and larger text settings.

Motion controls

The site respects your operating system’s reduced-motion preference automatically. You can also turn motion down from this page.

More than color

Links, states, buttons, labels, and form feedback are designed to have text, shape, borders, or other cues instead of depending only on a color change.

This page is supposed to be useful.

If one of these features stops working after we change the website, that is an accessibility bug — not just a wording problem on this page.

What we are not claiming

We are not currently claiming formal WCAG certification, a third-party accessibility audit, or perfect compatibility with every browser, device, screen reader, or assistive technology. The goal is narrower and more useful: build real accessibility into the public site, test it as the site changes, and fix barriers we can reproduce.

If the website still gets in your way

You do not have to fight with the site to reach us. Tell us what you were trying to do and we can help with the KeyLake part another way when practical.

Call or email KeyLake directly. Call (607) 289-0107 or email [email protected]. You do not need to know the name of an accessibility standard or provide technical details to ask for help.

Third-party services

Some connected functions, such as an authorized invoice payment option, are provided by third parties and have their own accessibility features. If a third-party step prevents you from completing a KeyLake task, contact us. We can help with the part of the process we control and point you to the right support for the part we do not.

Report an accessibility problem

Email [email protected] or call (607) 289-0107. The page or feature that gave you trouble is enough to start; device, browser, or assistive-technology details are helpful only if you want to share them.
